This steel groove textured warning strip is manufactured from 316L stainless steel. Available in 400mm in length, 20mm in width, and 6mm in height. The 400mm strip is in line with DETR guidelines, meaning they are suitable for use in guiding the visually impaired in public and private settings.

Material Information

The tactile strip is made from high-quality 316L stainless steel to ensure lifelong performance in the toughest of conditions. Due to its composition, 316L stainless steel has far superior weathering resistance when compared to other stainless steel, particularly when subjected to harsh rain, snow, or sleet.

Design

The tactile strip has slightly bevelled edges leading up to a grooved surface for enhanced grip in environments prone to contamination or rainfall.

Installation

These tactile strips are installed by putting a screw through the holes into a rawl plug inserted into the surface underneath.
