Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to studmarc.com.

This website is run by Landmark Street Furniture, the parent company of Studmarc.

Our commitment to accessibility in the digital space is just as strong as it is in the physical. Owing to the type of work we do in engaging architects in discussions around accessibility and legislation, we understand how important it is to include those with disabilities in every aspect of life. Our website is no different; we want anyone with an interest in tactile guidance or architectural studs to be able to access and engage with our products and content in a way that they find comfortable.

How accessible is Studmarc.com?

Studmarc.com partially meets the requirements of the WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard.

While we have carried out extensive accessibility work across the website, we are aware of the following areas that do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 level AA:

  • Third-party services – some functionality is provided by third parties whose interfaces we do not control, including the payment forms at checkout and the cookie consent banner.

  • PDF documents – downloadable documents may not be currently tagged for screen readers (WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships). If you need the information in an alternative format, please contact us.

  • Podcast episodes – our podcast episodes are provided through an embedded YouTube player and currently rely on YouTube’s automatically generated captions, which may contain inaccuracies (WCAG 1.2.2 Captions). Our instructional videos play without sound and are accompanied by full written instructions on the same page.

  • Older content – we have reviewed and corrected historic content across the website, but occasional issues such as missing image alternative text may remain in older articles or product listings (WCAG 1.1.1 Non-text Content). We correct these as they are found.

We plan to address the issues within our control as part of our ongoing maintenance of the website.

How we will improve our website

We are committed to the continuous improvement of the level of accessibility of our website. Studmarc will schedule regular third-party reviews of the website and update the accessibility statement when appropriate in light of any updates or changes.

If you encounter any barriers to accessing the website content, please contact us.
