Corduroy Warning Paving C1

Description

The C1 corduroy warning paving tile is a DETR compliant alternative to traditional concrete paving. The corduroy pattern is a widely recognised arrangement amongst the visually impaired, designed to warn them of the presence of select hazards i.e. steps. LRT (light rapid transit) platforms, level crossings. This pattern is a signal to the individual to alter the speed at which they're walking and be prepared to stop. The C1 corduroy warning paving tiles come in packs of 10 and are supplied with adhesive. Designated Applications:

• Pedestrian Crossings
• At the head and foot of a set of stairs
• The foot of an LRT (light rapid transit) platform ramp
• At the point a footpath joins a shared route
