Stud installation at National Army Museum, Chelsea

The National Army Museum in Chelsea, London,  aims to be a first class museum that moves, inspires, challenges, educates and entertains. Its engaging museum experience reaches out to all, and wants to connect the British public with its army, regardless of age, gender, race and religion. The National Army Museum is for everyone, no matter what they think about the British Army.

It is easy to see why the display of army tanks in the outdoor space of the museum would be tempting to skateboarders. To protect the stone pedestals from skating damage we installed anti-skate studs which also help to keep visitors safe from accidents involving skateboarders. We used our 316 marine grade stainless steel torpedo studs, adding an elegant yet discreet element to the display.
